Uncommon Events Pop Up Shop – “Living Blog”

Our adorable space at 25th & Aspen has been fun and a nice way to join the neighborhood. We consider it our “living blog”. It is used as an office on the days that we do not “Pop Up”. My intention was to open at least once a month. I have had to adjust that dream! We will “Pop Up” when we can and offer the kinds of things we think are fun and cool.

We post on Next Door Fairmount, Facebook and in the windows of the store.

The next opening will be April 6th as we are a part of the Fairmount Arts Crawl. We will be open with things of all different kinds: dawgs, kidz, home goods, maybe some live plants.

The space will morph and change with the times.

The space is also available for small events: perfect for an artist’s show, baby or bridal shower for small groups or meetings.

The Babe Cave

Our Valentine theme is centered on "The Babe Cave".  We have gifts for ladies and for ladies to gift their gents. Some of our favs in this pop up:

Uncommon Events Pop Up Shop

Ok fans, here is the scoop on the Pop Up shop we have at 2441 Aspen Street, Fairmount Neighborhood in Philadelphia. I was looking for a way to showcase our incredible creativity when it comes to our clients hotel gifts and the gifts we create for our friends and colleagues. I found this adorable, perfect space when sealing the deal for my new row home right up the street!

Here is the concept: We will be open for 10 days a month starting in February 2014. Each month will be themed and the inventory of gifts will reflect that theme. The gifts will be handmade as well as some bespoke floral designs and things we LOVE with amazing design elements.

This is an extension of our usual business of Wedding Planning, Design and Decor. Our design warehouse in Norristown still rocks on a daily basis and is where we get to the dirty of "creation"!

This Pop Up Shop allows brides who do not have us on their team as planners and designers, to take advantage of incredible gifts for their out of town guests and entire bridal party (yup, we do "man" gifts too).

I will post the opening dates and themes soon.

We are very excited to be a part of the Fairmount Neighborhood. Everyone has been so welcoming and lovely. I made the right choice on my big move into the city!
